In the heart of Snowmass, Colorado, amidst the enchanting June breeze, Mel and Steve wrote a chapter of their love story, exchanging vows at the picturesque Lynn Britt Cabin. This quaint cabin atop the mountain became the stage for their unforgettable union. A ground arch with whimsical vibrant and whimsical pastel-colored flowers from Rly Rly blew in the panoramic view of the Rocky Mountains as the intimate ceremony accompanied with a string quartet of 75 guests wept with joy at the union they were witnessing.
Mel, a resident of New Mexico, had a deep-rooted connection to the mountains. She had been coming to Aspen Snowmass to ski since she was a little girl, cherishing each visit with her family as a treasured memory. When her and Steve started dating, she introduced this small little town to Steve and he grew to love it as much as her. When it came time to choose the perfect setting for their wedding, this charming town in the heart of the mountains, was a place where memories intertwined with dreams; and it had another chapter to write in its storybook among the snow-capped peaks.
As the sun began to dip behind the Rockies, guests gathered under a clear top tent, a celestial canopy that mirrored the vast expanse of stars above. To make it even more of a dream, the colors of lilac, marigold, soft peaches, and blue florals elevated the event. We even saw a mama bear with her two cubs roaming on the slopes during dinner. The heartfelt speeches from loved ones brought the couple to tears. Soon after, the couple cut into their beautifully crafted orange cake from Coppelia Cakes.
As the sun finally set behind the peaks, dance music accompanied with multicolored disco lights shined through the mountain and into the sky with the clear-top tent. People jumped and danced in celebration of the beautiful Steve & Mel. And as they ventured into the unknown, one thing remained certain—their love, like the mountains that cradled their union, stood tall and unwavering; a beacon of hope and inspiration for all who crossed its path.
